This Defence Map visually describes the current advancements of Sri Lankan troops in military operations in Northern part of the Sri Lanka, in their battle against LTTE (Liberation Tigers of Tamil Elam) terrorists. This is not an official map of Sri Lankan military, but an independent source of information based on the official reports of the Sri Lankan government websites such as www.defence.lk, www.army.lk, www.nationalsecurity.lk, www.airforce.lk, etc etc.
